Alex Chapman
California Bay Area native Alex Chapman has been writing and playing music since he was 12 years old. While cutting his teeth for a few years with local bands he discovered a desire for something more ambitious. In 2012 he signed up for the GIT program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood and earned his AA in Guitar Performance in 2014. Alex studied with legendary instructors and musicians Lenny Widegren, Jamie Kime, Greg Harrison, Scott Henderson, Dan Gilbert and many more while at MI. As he developed his abilities he played in fusion band Casual Cue, progressive metal band Eye for I and wrote scores for short films. Now he writes and performs with Cosmitorium as he seeks to carve out a noteworthy space in the boundary pushing genres of death and progressive metal.
Nick LaSalle
Nick LaSalle is a shred guitar extraordinaire from the Bay Area. With 21 years of playing experience, he has written and performed live in metal, bluegrass and blues bands since he was 16 years old. Nick has won local shred competitions and studied jazz improvisation and classical western music theory under Bennett Friedman and Mark Anderman at SRJC. As if that didn't make him competent enough, Nick has privately studied under legends of the metal guitar community including Dave Davidson and Wes Hauch. Most notably, Nick has been a crucial member of Cosmitorium, Exemplar, Aberration and Nuclear Tempest.
Dylan Walker
Hailing from Sebastopol, California, Dylan Walker has been playing drums since his 11th birthday. Dylan has studied privately under Thomas Pridgen and has a truly unique voice and writing capability behind the kit. At 30 years old, he has toured with bands such as Arkaik and Vale of Pnath. A 2014 Musicians Institute alumni, his abilities currently find him in bands Cosmitorium, Exemplar and formerly Aberration.
James Owen
James is a metal vocalist and lyricist from Santa Rosa, California. A tried and true practitioner of wreaking havoc on stage, James has most notably wrought chaos and destruction with past bands Alleged Alibi, Hypoxia, Aberration and now Cosmitorium.
